Research & Development Projects

Among the means privileged by the department in filling its mandate, research-cost effective, innovative and geared to the department's priorities-figure prominently. Hence the importance of publicizing the results of research projects to optimize their social and economic impact.

These abstracts are intended to provide information concerning the research projects (in which the departement is or was engaged in the framework of such research programmes as the Programme de recherche universitaire en sécurité routière (which includes the Programme de recherche universitaire en sécurité routière (1999-2004) and the Programme d'action concertée de soutien en sécurité routière (1993-1996)), research contracts (external projects research), in-house projects and the Canada-Québec Subsidiary Agreement on Transportation Development (1985-1993).

The list of research projects gives access to R&D projects carried out since 1985; it is not exhaustive and is update on a regular basis.
